So back in the day, my senior year of high school, I used to be pretty active here on DA. I guess I didn't have too much to do with my time because I spent hours posting on the forums, chatting with DA friends, etc. My social life didn't extend much past my tiny high school and the internet, so I guess it was understandable.

Now, a few years later, I'm a junior in college and really don't have the time or inclination to socialize online the way I used to. But I find that I also don't seem to have the time or inclination to devote to art, and I don't really like that. So I'm making a cautious return to deviantart, not really expecting this to last long. And not really sure if it's going to be worthwhile, since with the amount of users nowadays it's unlikely I'll get much feedback on my work.

Looking through this account was such a pleasant round of reminiscing. My journal entries, my old IDs... I mean, I knew how arrogant I was, but wow. Then again, I was also pretty amusing. And seeing the posts I'd written about getting into college and graduating from high school was a real trip. But I've erased them all because I'm rather different nowadays, and somewhat uncomfortable with how much I'd shared.

Don't worry though, I'm still just as charming as I used to be. Some things never change.
